Chapter 9 Comments

Cheryl Carp’s article was naive and she came across as a “prisoner sycophant”. She tries to see the good side of the prisoners, but I thought the “clown club” was creepy.

Keri Ann Matsumoto was very effective with her thoughts on going organic. I don’t know if she convinced me to give up my “elitist” brown eggs, though.

Shannon King used the surprising reversal very effectively. I did not realize that fossil fuel would still be needed.

Eugene Robinson’s article about racial profiling was very good and he backed it up with good statistics, but I thought his voice sounded heavily tilted.
