Just wanted to make a quick post.

I hope you all are making good use of the time away from class while I am doing one-on-one conferences. Based on the conferences, I believe that things seem to be going well for the majority of the class.

As for reminders:

First, I have mentioned this to everyone so far (I think), but I’m moving the revision submission deadline to April 8th to give you all another couple days. Also, REMEMBER that this deadline is only if you actually want me to re-look at something BEFORE you revise it again for the portfolio. You don’t have to turn in anything at the revision deadline.

On Monday, April 6th, make sure you bring with you the opening part of your Classical Argument paper. This is the CARS (creating a research space) stuff that we talked about before, with the 3 Moves. It should start with Move 1, Step 1 and continue through your thesis. Bring 2 copies.

On Monday, we’ll go over paper formatting (including the letter, cover page, and abstract), graphic ethics, and have the peer review time. You’ll also want to bring your books (Allyn and Bacon).
