That would only work if your audience did not know the source. If they did, it would weaken your argument.

This is what happens when one doesn't pay attention in class or just misses it all together.

Second attempt at writing in this blog. Didn't know you had to be logged in :) Any way I found the reading enlightening and now that I know that research papers can be fun to write by posing an interesting problematic question I am not dreading it as much.

I like the questions it gave you to ask yourself about a website's credibility. With all the good information the internet has to offer there is also a lot of inaccurate information. With the internet being my main source for research I like to make sure what I'm using is legitimate.

I'm not gonna lie, I think that the allyn bacon book is boring, it has a lot of information to try to take in all at once. At least for me. The DK handbook however, is really helping. It is short and to the point, and has really helped me find my topic for my paper. This weeks reading has helped me to try to narrow my topic and help start my paper. I think it has probably helped me in my writing more than any other book and i just started using it.

You would think that after at least four years of high school where we should be writing papers people would be able to tell what a valid source is from the internet. Most of us in class have had at least one semester of English in college as well if not more yet they are still hammering the same information down our throats of valid sources. Perhaps if it was done correctly the first time they wouldn't have to be continuing to teach us this stuff and work on something new.

But I guess the "System" isn't all to blame because it is the students that are spending more and more time with technological "toys" whether it by software type things like Facebook, Twitter, etc or Video gaming systems to actually pretend to comprehend new things that don't give off a low glow that destroys their retinas.

All in all the reading did have some valid points in it that were new but I would say 95% of it was taught last semester in 1010.

Ok I am done with my comment now, hope you didn't waste to much of your time reading it and didn't take offense at any of it. If you did then stop and think, "Hey, what he said must be true."
