I apologize for the late notice on this – my internet went down over the weekend. Of course, this is all in the syllabus, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

On Tuesday, we are going to be talking about Reviews of Literature and Categorizing. These are both important for the Proposal part of the next assignment.

For reading, I suggest you look at the student examples on Blackboard.

Please bring 2 items of junk mail with you to class. This junk mail can either be something mailed to you via the post office, or it can be email spam.

You also need to bring your Peer Review Sheets to turn in.

Finally, your teacher draft of the Analysis and Synthesis paper is due by midnight Tuesday. Make sure you send the following:

  • PDFs (or Word documents) that contain the text of your sources for this paper.

  • The Analysis and Synthesis_Teacher Review Sheet (make sure to rename it as discussed in class)

  • Your teacher draft of the paper (the peer draft should also be included in the same file, at the end of the file)

  • A cover letter that tells how and what you want me to comment on; as well as whose papers you peer reviewed, who you sent your peer reviews to, and responding to your peer reviewers’ comments and suggestions (note that this is slightly different than last time)
