Garrett Winn's Writing Classes for UVU
Class for Nov. 23
November 20th, 2010 by Garrett in Announcements ||

I am meeting with students one-on-one for this day.

Those students need to print out and bring the Personal Research Narrative with them.

Everyone needs to submit the papers for the Researched Argument assignment. This includes the cover letter (make sure to sign it), peer review sheets, and any printed sources. If you are turning it in to the English Department, make sure to use a paper clip or binder clip instead of stapling everything together.

Do we have to print out this paper? I was not sure if we needed to print out the entire thing. Obviously we need to print the cover letter. If we need to print the entire paper, is it fine if we just email the sources? How long will you be at the school for us to turn in this paper?

I’m pretty sure the only thing we need to print out is the cover letter, rather than emailing it like we usually do as an attachment. Everything else we turn in the same. Email the paper and the teacher review sheet as an attachment, physically hand in the cover letter, peer review sheets, and any printed sources. If you do not print out and turn in your sources, then you will need to email them. That’s how I understand it, so if I am wrong someone better say so. :)

Thanks, that is what i figured.

Garrett,
I remember you saying something about a video we needed to post here about our paper, is that for this blog post? Or am I totally blind? ;)

Garrett replied on November 22nd, 2010:

That post will go up tomorrow. The video link isn’t due until next Tuesday.

I know this might be preemtive but if there is a blizzard, is there a chance class will be canceled?

Chad Humphrey replied on November 23rd, 2010:

*pre-emptive*

One of my other classes was canceled, but the teacher comes down from Salt Lake.
