Wow, too many “20s”.
Anyway, welcome to my class.
This will be a tough semester, but I know that if you apply yourself, learn from your mistakes, and rewrite often, that you will be better prepared for college-level writing and researching. I also work on preparing you a bit for life outside the “hallowed four walls of academia” so that you know about your future (potentially, current) job.
Good luck!

Really?
This is another comment.
It is good to be back to school. I think this class is going to push be but I defanatly see it making me better for it. I think it is important to stay on track. The syllabus lays out a great out line as to what is expected and how the class will go. The scheduel looks to move at a quick pace so it will be important to not fall behind.

I would definitely have to agree with that statement. It is going to push me with writing because it is my weakest subject. This will be fun if we help each other out and don’t stress it too much, we have plenty of help around us.
I have to agree with the both of you. This class with push us greatly! But I am excited and hope to improve my lacking writing skill.s
Agreed. It will be difficult if I fall behind, as I work 12 hour shifts each day and then start my classes. A good reason not to fall behind!

Ouch. Should be an “interesting” semester for you. Interesting as in, I wonder how Adam functions without any sleep.
It took me a little while to figure out how to post a comment, but i finally got it. I think this class is going to be good for me because I will have the opportunity to improve my English writing skills.

It took me till Sunday night to figure out how to post a comment too. I never blog for any other reason, and it’s my first time commenting on a blog as well, but i think I’ll get the hang of it soon enough, because I always use Facebook as well, and if its anything like blogging and leaving messages than I’m on it
.
FInally, after resetting my password several times i’m finally able to log in. I’m very excited about this class and it seems like we have a good group to help each other out and succeed.
I believe that this is not going to be an easy class for me, but I am pretty sure that I am going to enjoy it, because the English language is a one and only. Try coming into a different country without knowing any, and I mean ANY English. Who would ever guess that I will be in an English 2020 writing research papers in college.
Garrett replied on January 10th, 2011:
Congrats! I’ve had some non-native English speakers in my class. Some find it too much for their skills, but others really grow. In fact, the student who went from D+ to B+ last semester was one such person.
P.S. I love the size of the book, it is very convenient having a smaller book that won’t rip one’s book bag because it weighs so much!!!!

And most assignments are electronic, so we try to save you there as well
This is the 2nd time I have posted on a blog and the 1st blog site I have posted on. I am a rather slow reader so I will have to double up on reading over the weekends in order to stay on top. Yay, no need to make plans!
