Make sure to get your 2 peer reviews done before class starts. You’ll want to bring the peer review sheet and any notes or info to share with the owner of the paper you reviewed.
Also, read pages 186-189 in Green and Lidinsky. We’ll be talking about Rhetorical Appeals of ethos, pathos, and logos – including logical fallacies – during class.
Finally, keep working on getting all 8 sources for your annotated bibliography and final paper.
Here are a short list of “journals” that some students has tried to use that we’ve identified as not being academic and peer reviewed (so I hope this saves you some trouble):
Chronicle of Higher Education
CQ (Congressional Quarterly) Researcher
CQ (Congressional Quarterly) Weekly
Dissent
Employment Relations Today
Forbes
Foreign Affairs
Issues in Science and Technology
Journal Of Young Investigators
Medical Design
Scientific American
Teacher Magazine
Technology Review
Washington Post
And here are a few that I didn’t initially think were peer reviewed but are:
Orbis
Phi Delta Kappan
Technology Teacher
Phi Delta Kappan
Technology Teacher
